Pre-owned buildings represent a great value and opportunity for customers.
Unlike cars, boats, home appliances, etc. portable buildings do not have
moving parts so there is nothing to wear out! Consequently, the Warranty on
a pre-owned building is the exact same as on a new building.
At Cook, our reconditioning process repairs any damage that may have
occurred while out on rental. In most cases, we apply two full coats of UV
protectant stain that costs Cook’s an average 5% of the retail price of the
building. Why buy new? Considering the added value of the stain with no
increase in price, and the same lifetime warranty as a new building,
reconditioned pre-owned buildings are better than new! Customers may also
choose to purchase a pre-owned building that has not gone through the
staining part of the reconditioning process if they plan to paint the
building to match their home, as slightly aged buildings actually accept
paint better than new buildings.
